Mobile mechanic
Mobile mechanic covering Wareham and Purbeck
Mobile servicing & repairs for all makes and models, based in Wareham, Dorset. We come to you — at home or at work — so you don't need to get the car to a garage.
I'm Darren. I've been fixing cars for over 40 years, and I work from a fully equipped van, not a unit on an industrial estate. Servicing, diagnostics, brakes, cambelts, clutches, batteries, DPF cleaning and auto electrics — all done on your driveway or in your work car park. If the car won't start, call me. If it's due a service, book me in. Either way, I come to you.
Why people call me
I'm local
Based in Wareham, working across the Isle of Purbeck every day — Swanage, Corfe Castle, Wool, Bere Regis and the villages between. See the full area.
I explain, and I show you
You'll see the worn part in my hand, not a line on an invoice. If something doesn't need doing, I'll tell you that too.
Over 40 years in the trade
All makes and models — everyday cars and vans, and the awkward stuff other garages turn away.

A proper workshop, on wheels
Mobile doesn't mean a toolbox in a boot. The van carries racking, a vice, a press, lifting gear, diagnostic equipment and the parts stock to finish most jobs on your driveway — at your home or at your work.
We have used Darren for our families cars for many years, he has always been extremely knowledgeable and got to the bottom of any issues , his prompt service and reliability are second to none , his prices are very fair, he is always cheerful with a good sense of humour and nothing is too much trouble . Thoroughly recommended
Cheers John for taking the time to leave a good review, much appreciated !
